JOB4MIGRANTS, LLC — PRIVACY POLICY

Effective date: 07/09/2026

1. Introduction and Scope

Job4Migrants, LLC ("Job4Migrants," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at job4migrants.com, related web applications, and our mobile applications (including our iOS application) (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with the Services. It applies to job seekers, employers, and service providers (each a "user").

Job4Migrants is a universal online job board and AI-assisted job-matching platform. We are not a recruiter, staffing agency, employment agency, or immigration-services provider. We do not sponsor visas, guarantee employment, or charge placement fees.

The Services are directed to and intended for users located in the United States and are for individuals 18 years of age or older.

2. Language / Translation Precedence

We may provide this Privacy Policy in multiple languages (English, Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Romanian). The English-language version is the authoritative and controlling version. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the English version and a translation, the English version governs.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information you provide directly

  • Account/registration data: name, email address, password, user role (job seeker, employer, service provider), and account preferences.
  • Profile data for job seekers: work history, education, skills, resume/CV, cover letters, and (optionally) work authorization information. Providing work authorization information is entirely optional.
  • Employer/service-provider data: company name, business contact details, job listings, service listings, and billing contact information.
  • Communications: messages, support requests, and feedback.
  • Payment information: processed by our third-party payment processors (we do not store full card numbers).

3.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and interaction data.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
  • Mobile-specific data: device identifiers, push notification tokens, app version, and, where applicable, mobile advertising identifiers such as the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) and Identifier for Vendors (IDFV).
  • App permissions: with your consent, our mobile app may access your device camera and photo library (for example, to upload a resume or profile photo). You may control these permissions in your device settings.

3.3 Information from third parties

Authentication providers (if you sign in via a third-party service) and analytics providers.

We do not collect immigration status as a profile field. This is an intentional, privacy-protective design choice. Any work authorization information is optional and provided at the user's discretion. You should not include sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, immigration status, or government-issued ID numbers in your resume or profile.

4. How We Use Information

We use personal information to: provide and operate the Services; create and manage accounts; enable job seekers, employers, and service providers to connect; power AI-assisted matching and search features; process payments and subscriptions; communicate with users; provide customer support; personalize the experience; ensure security and prevent fraud; comply with legal obligations; and enforce our Terms of Service.

5. AI-Assisted Matching Disclosure

The Services use automated technologies, including Google's Gemini AI, to help rank, sort, suggest, and match job listings, candidates, and service providers. These features are informational and advisory only. Algorithmic outputs are suggestions; they do not make hiring, rejection, or engagement decisions. Employers and users make their own independent decisions. Job4Migrants is a neutral tool; employers are solely responsible for their employment decisions and for complying with laws governing automated employment decision tools (see our Terms of Service).

6. How We Share Information

We share personal information as follows:

  • With employers/service providers at your direction. When a job seeker applies to a listing or makes a profile discoverable, relevant information is shared with the applicable employer or service provider. Once an employer or service provider receives your information, its use of that information is governed by its own policies.
  • With service providers/subprocessors. We use vendors to host and operate the Services. These include: Google Firebase/Firestore (backend, authentication, database), Vercel (website hosting), Algolia (search), Google Analytics (analytics), Stripe (payment processing), Apple (in-app purchases on iOS), and Google Gemini API (AI matching). These vendors process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
  • For legal reasons: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect rights, safety, and property.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

No sale of personal data. We do not sell personal information for money. We do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising as those terms are defined under applicable state privacy laws. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy and provide an opt-out mechanism (including a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link), and we will honor opt-out preference signals including the Global Privacy Control (GPC).

7. Your Privacy Rights (State Residents)

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to: confirm whether we process your personal data and access it; correct inaccuracies; delete your personal data; obtain a portable copy; opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and certain profiling; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

How to exercise rights. Submit a request to admin@job4migrants.com. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require proof of the agent's authorization.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by emailing admin@job4migrants.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.

Global Privacy Control. We honor GPC and similar universal opt-out browser/device signals as required by applicable law.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children and are intended only for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly. To report such a collection, contact admin@job4migrants.com.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business and legal purposes. Indicative periods: account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter; resume/profile data until you delete it or your account; transaction records as required by tax and accounting law (generally up to 7 years); support communications for a limited period. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it. Aggregated or de-identified data may be retained indefinitely.

10. Security and Breach Notification

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

In the event of a data breach affecting personal information, we will notify affected individuals and applicable authorities as required by law, including the Florida Information Protection Act.

11. Push Notifications and Marketing Communications

  • Push notifications: You may opt out at any time via your device settings.
  • Marketing emails: You may opt out via the unsubscribe link in each message or by contacting support@job4migrants.com. We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. We may still send transactional and service messages (such as account confirmations and application notifications).
  • SMS (if offered): If we introduce SMS notifications, we will obtain your prior express consent as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and you may opt out at any time (e.g., by replying STOP).

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice via the Services or email before the change takes effect, unless immediate effect is required by law. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest version.
