AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM CUSTODIAN (PART-TIME AFTERNOONS)

Description "We are an Equal Opportunity Employer / Drug-Free Workplace" AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM CUSTODIAN PART-TIME POSITION HOURS: 4PM TO 6PM RATE OF PAY: $15.00 PER HOUR The Custodian will execute the following: Cleans classrooms, restrooms, hallways and all designated YWCA afterschool programming areas at assigned school site. Maintains awareness and readiness to respond to emergency cleanups from YWCA students and staff. Maintains facility in clean and orderly condition during scheduled time such as emptying trash cans, sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms & lunch rooms, keeping supplies stocked and changing light bulbs. Collects trash and cardboard throughout the facility. Regular duties cover all YWCA Afterschool Program spaces Performs minor routine maintenance, including replacing lights, changing filters, etc. of designated afterschool programming areas (i.e cafeteria, classrooms) and other related duties as required and assigned. Hialeah, FL 33010 Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred, supplemented by one (1) year of experience in general maintenance work, any variety of custodial and janitorial tasks or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Level 2 Clearance, and drug test required.
