Job Description

Description We are a high volume kitchen looking for an experienced dishwasher who can keep up, stay organized, and take pride in their work. This role matters here. A clean and controlled dish station keeps the entire kitchen moving. If you fall behind, the whole team feels it. What this job requires 2-5 nights per week Shifts start between 2pm and 4pm and run through close around 10pm to 11pm Fast paced environment with constant volume You are expected to stay on top of dishes, pans, and equipment at all times Cleanliness and organization are not optional What you will be responsible for Keeping all dishes, pots, pans, and tools clean and ready for service Maintaining a clean and organized dish area throughout the shift Managing trash, recycling, and compost Supporting general kitchen cleaning and deep cleaning tasks Helping the team keep the kitchen running smoothly Who does well here People who move with urgency and stay focused People who take pride in a clean and organized workspace People who do not need to be reminded to stay on task Team players who communicate and step in when needed Who should not apply If you fall behind easily during busy shifts If you are not detail oriented about cleanliness If you need constant direction to stay productive If you are looking for an easy or low effort job Requirements Previous dish or kitchen experience preferred Ability to stay on your feet and keep moving for the full shift Ability to lift up to 60 pounds Comfortable working in a warm and wet environment Pay and benefits $17 to $20 per hour based on experience Health insurance and life insurance 401k with employer match Shift meals and employee discounts Flexible scheduling 1 to 5 nights per week Closed on major holidays About us Kindred Fare is a full service restaurant focused on seasonal scratch cooking with strong ties to the Finger Lakes food and beverage community.
