Tri Pointe Homes DC Metro is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic individual to join our talented group as an Office Coordinator/Receptionist.
Position Highlights: The Receptionist is the first contact to greet visitors by phone and in person. The Receptionist will answer a multi-line telephone system and greet visitors in a timely, pleasant, and professional manner. You will also provide administrative assistance as needed. You may be required to be the division/brand single point of contact for all team members, new hires, vendors, and guest inquiries.
Position Responsibilities:
Offer a positive and friendly first impression as you greet clients, guests, and visiting team members.
Answer incoming calls, determine caller’s needs, and route to the appropriate department.
Act as the division/brand single point of contact for all team members, new hires, vendors, and guest inquiries.
Take initiative to proactively address and answer questions.
Assist in scheduling/coordinating conference rooms and meetings; ensuring they are cleaned and organized
Consistently maintain the upkeep of the lobby. Ensure all visitors sign the Visitor Register.
Replenishes kitchen supplies daily; copier rooms, and/or other supplies as needed. Maintains tidiness of kitchens. May order supplies from Office Depot or Costco.
Assist in catering orders for meetings and events; including setup and cleanup.
Act as division utility player stepping in to assist with the various administrative projects, as needed.
Assist with access cards with the parking garage company. Order and distribute parking validations as needed. Coordinate extended parking requests.
Accept and/or distribute daily deliveries received. Ensure daily mail delivery of PO Box mail and interoffice black bag received from and sent to OC-LA office.
Completes shipment labels as requested; ensures daily pickup by carrier. Order and maintain shipping supplies for the office.
Assist with office maintenance or repair requests. Coordinate visits with building management.
Maintain and distribute Home Office lists monthly or as needed.
Set up new hire desk and clean out terminated employee desk.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
Customer service experience required.
Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written.
Enjoy assisting others.
Able to sit for long periods of time in a single area.
Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and on time.
Incomparable organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task and maintain composure and professionalism.
Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software
Ability to maintain confidential information
Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: The expected Base Salary range for this position is between $18.22 to $26.49 per hour, equivalent to $37,900 to $55,100 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday.
Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual performance-based cash bonus. Bonuses are earned, calculated and paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Company’s applicable incentive plan document.
