Job Description

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 am – 5:00 pm Must have ability to stay later than 5:00 pm, if needed, on 2 scheduled days a week Job Summary: The Patient Care Technician assists in the treatment and care of patients under the direction of a licensed nurse. Performs tasks and services to assist in the provision of care and comfort for patients; provides care appropriate to the age of the patients served; reports observations; contributes to the efficient functioning of the unit; all duties are performed in accordance with established, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.   Responsibilities: Direct patient care under supervision of RN is primary role –Assist with dressing, monitoring, and transferring of patient. Obtain vital signs and point of care labs.
