The Journey ECG Tech performs electrocardiograms (ECGs), rhythm strips, and
related cardiac monitoring tasks efficiently and accurately. The role includes
ensuring equipment functionality, supporting patient care during cardiac
emergencies, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, managing holter
heart monitor processes, and providing patient education while developing
proficiency in cardiac rhythms. The Journey level ECG tech will additionally
have a TEE probe cleaning certification and be in the process of obtaining a
Certified Cardiographic Technician certificate.

Required Qualifications:
* H.S. Diploma or GED
* Coursework/Training: TEE Probe cleaning certificate.
* National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
* 1 year experience as an Associate ECG technician or 1 year existing ECG/EKG
experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 6 months experience as an Emergency Medical Technician, Corpsman, Medical
Assistant or other related allied health fields.
* 6 months Hospital or clinic-based exercise testing experience.
* 6 months Telemetry experience and knowledge of heart rhythms.
* Coursework/Training: Certified Cardiographic Technician in process
