SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

SUMMARY
Responsible for providing PC, network and telecommunications support in LAN and
standalone environments.
Assist in the fulfillment of the Organization’s vision and mission.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Regularly travels between Fresno EOC facilities, program/work sites, and event
locations is required to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, deploy,
inventory, and support technology equipment and services. Responsible for timely
in-person response to technology support needs at multiple locations.
Provides in-person, remote, and telephone support for computers, mobile devices,
printers, telecommunications, network access, agency applications, and
cloud-based services.
Creates, updates, prioritizes, documents, and resolves service tickets in the
approved work order system.
Maintains accurate records of equipment, inventory, software, network changes,
and support activity.
Track technology assets from procurement through retirement, including surplus
and disposal procedures as directed.
Assist with endpoint management platforms used to deploy software, enforce
security policies, and manage device configurations.
Prepare, image, configure, and deploy computers and mobile devices using
standardized operating system images and deployment tools.
Installs, configures, deploys, maintains, and troubleshoots desktops, laptops,
peripherals, operating systems, approved software, and endpoint hardware.
Assists with monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network
infrastructure, wireless access, cabling, internet connectivity, and local
network services.
Supports telecommunications, collaboration tools, video conferencing equipment,
meeting room technology, and related user setup.
Installs, tests, labels, and maintains network and telecommunications cabling
and connectivity components.
Supports agency websites, web-based platforms, business applications, user
access, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination as assigned.
Troubleshoots cloud applications, identity and access issues, file sharing,
email, productivity tools, and connectivity problems.
Provides basic user account support, including password resets, permissions
troubleshooting, multi-factor authentication support, and access changes.
Follows cybersecurity, data privacy, acceptable use, endpoint protection,
update, and incident-reporting practices.
Coordinates with IT staff, vendors, and service providers to resolve technology
issues within service expectations.
Provides basic user guidance and training on agency technology tools,
cybersecurity awareness, and approved procedures.
Travels to agency and partner locations as needed to provide support,
installations, troubleshooting, and equipment deployment.
Communicates technical information clearly and maintains a professional,
customer-focused approach.
Supports department projects, technology refreshes, office moves, equipment
lifecycle activities, and process improvements.
Pick up, transport and deliver equipment as needed.
Travels for work related business using personal/organization vehicle.
Maintains regular attendance and punctuality.
Works evenings and weekends as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:
* High school diploma or GED.

* Trade or Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field
preferred; equivalent education, training, certifications, and/or additional
relevant work experience may substitute on a year-by-year basis or
equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum of one year of help desk, desktop, network, or related IT support
experience required.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, cloud applications, and business software.
Effective written, verbal and customer service skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, follow security
procedures, manage competing priorities, work independently and collaboratively,
and provide professional support to staff across departments and locations.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to communicate
technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Willingness to work flexible hours to meet operational needs.
Maintain a valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto
insurance in compliance with state law, and meet the organization’s insurance
requirements for operating organization vehicles.

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5pm
7.5 hours per day
