Property/Building Maintenance Technician

POSITION: Property/Building Maintenance Technician  STATUS: Non-Exempt HOURS: Full time Monday through Friday (specific hours may vary) LOCATION: Twin Cities, MN  COMPENSATION: Hourly rate $22 - $25. No housing provided.  POSITION SUMMARY: Exciting opportunity for an experienced property/building maintenance technician for a community association located in the Twin Cities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * Two years of maintenance experience, preferably in a condominium or apartment building environment  * Experience with planning and follow-through of seasonal duties * Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects/tasks * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills * Ability to utilize hand tools and small power tools to complete repairs/tasks * Maintenance skills associated with the upkeep of building interiors and exteriors (examples: replacing light bulbs, painting, watering lawns, picking up and emptying trash, repairing/tightening railings, small appliance repairs, filling water softeners, etc.) * Assist Association Management staff as necessary  * Mindful of surroundings and instinct to respond to needs without instruction  * Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor * Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday * Ability to understand and utilize software systems to receive, track, update and close assigned work orders * CPO license preferred (not required) * Boiler license preferred (not required)  PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Consistent walking and standing are required * Consistent monitoring of email, texts, and phone calls during work hours * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds  * Ability to move and stand on a ladder      We work hard and have fun too, and were recognized as a multi-year Star Tribune Top Workplace!
