Rehabilitation Technician PRN

We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation.  Featured Benefits: * Retirement: Inova matches the first 5% of eligible contributions – starting on your first day. * Mental Health Support: offering all Inova team members, their spouses/partners, and their children 25 mental health coaching or therapy sessions, per person, per year, at no cost.   Rehabilitation Services Technician Responsibilities: * The Rehabilitation Technician adheres to facility policy in the maintenance of patient care areas, equipment, and supplies.  * Assists with the patient care under the guidance/direction of a licensed rehab professional while demonstrating essential skill competencies in the use of patient care modalities.  * Communicates effectively via written and verbal communication with patients, families, medical staff, healthcare team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.  * Completes all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit * May perform additional duties as assigned.   Minimum Qualifications: * Education: High School or GED * Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start   Preferred Qualification:  * Experience in the rehab setting We are Inova, Northern Virginia’s leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
